Day of Pentecost June 4

John 14:16–18
The Day of Pentecost celebrates the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles and on which, under Peter’s preaching, so many thousands were converted in Jerusalem. This began “the church”. It is always 50 days after Easter.
Acts 2:1-4
This Pentecost Day, let’s thank God for giving us the Holy Spirit to empower us for His service, giving us wisdom and understanding and calling us to faith.
